Falasteen (tapestry)

I crochet tapestry wall-hangings which have arabic calligraphy and/or other designs which are used as decoration or art pieces. This piece is called Falasteen, and is has aspects of the Palestinian identity, a white dove, and olive branches, as well as some calligraphy. What my pieces do is show Islam, or Islamic concepts as something artistic. This piece is both a piece of activism, and something artistic.
